Since 1982, Wharfedale's famous Diamond loudspeakers have served as a gateway to true hi-fi sound. Due to the combination of excellent sound performance and the right price-quality ratio, this series has already received numerous awards. With the arrival of the Diamond 12 series, Wharfedale once again raised the bar for affordable and high-quality loudspeakers.
The Diamond 12.0 bookshelf speakers feature the same technology as their bigger siblings, but are designed for smaller footprint Hi-Fi systems, or as high-performance satellite speakers in surround systems.
These ultra-compact speakers feature a premium 100mm KlartityTM driver and a superior 25mm woven polyester dome tweeter. The voice coil is wound on a high performance epoxy, glass fiber coil which is very unusual for speakers in this price range. This offers higher resistance than aluminum coils, resulting in fast, clean bass without coil distortion.
Inside the cabinet, Intelligent Spot Bracing connects opposing walls with specially formed wooden bracing to optimally reduce cabinet resonance. These reinforcements have been accurately modeled by means of computer simulations.
The Wharfedale Diamond 12.0's are easy to connect, so you can quickly enjoy the warm, natural sound.
