Characteristics
With remarkable sound pressure levels, the SW-10 subwoofer retains sufficient check to keep the resulting sound at an excellent quality level. Just like any model from the series, amplifier modules, filter stages and revolutionary drive units, contains the subwoofer, which are combined to create a balanced sound.
The subwoofer cone of the SW-10 is newly designed to improve the structure, and is formed of non pressed paper for more self-damping and improved transient impact and internal help to increase the structural rigidity to the cone. The SW-10 copper-containing coated centers of opening in order to reduce the magnetic distortion and carry away any heat.
Wharfedale SW-10 subwoofer is solidly built to stand the low frequencies and is optimized for high-impact low frequencies. The subwoofer adds depth to any exciting film experience, and also provides a low level of banging your music.
Technology
They find the perfect balance between power and sound quality and offer outstanding sound levels while maintaining sufficient control to be considered audiophile quality. The new series of SW subwoofers is provided with a large number of new features.
They now come with Non-pressed paper cones for more self-damping, improved transient impact and an internal increased structural rigidity of the cone itself. The central openings are lined with copper in order to reduce the magnetic distortion and to improve the heat dissipation.
The addition of a subwoofer adds weight and authority to any stereo system, whereby the frequency response is extended much further than conventional bass drivers. All SW models provide a phase adjustment for additional sound adjustment.
At Wharfedale subwoofers are built amplifiers designed to provide a powerful response to give these frequencies, while a continuously variable crossover for seamless integration with the other speakers in the system.
Design
Still using the solid, well-designed power amplifiers SW subwoofers optimized for high impact at low frequencies and are ideal for movies or music. The different finishes of the cabinets - White Sandex and Blackwood Vinyl with high gloss baffle - see these subwoofers great with matching floor standing speakers.
