The most important in the design criteria for the Diamond 200 is the constant research into the sound quality of the speaker drivers. The speaker series uses Wharfedale hair woven kevlar cone form, using the influence of the flagship of the Jade series.

While, among other things, the internal crossover is tightened and stronger magnets are used at the rear of the diamond 220, the aesthetics and the structure are also improved. The Diamond 200 series has a completely new varnished front panel and cosmetic improved veneer.
