Since 1982, Wharfedale's famous Diamond loudspeakers have served as a gateway to true hi-fi sound. Due to the combination of excellent sound performance and the right price-quality ratio, this series has already received numerous awards. With the arrival of the Diamond 12 series, Wharfedale once again raised the bar for affordable and high-quality loudspeakers.
The Diamond 12.2 speakers are compact, but with more cabinet volume and larger drivers than its brothers, it has more potential. The Diamond 12.2 bookshelf speakers offer something more of a traditional speaker format and embodies the history and performance values of the Diamond 12 series.
The Diamond 12.2 speakers feature a high-quality 150mm KlartityTM driver for excellent timing and refined bass. A superior 25mm woven polyester dome tweeter delivers open and evenly extended high frequencies.
Inside the cabinet, Intelligent Spot Bracing connects opposing walls with specially formed wooden bracing to optimally reduce cabinet resonance. These reinforcements have been accurately modeled by means of computer simulations.
The Wharfedale Diamond 12.2s are perfect for larger rooms or more powerful 2-channel hi-fi systems. These speakers provide a warm and natural sound in your room.
