Since 1982, Wharfedale's Diamond speakers have been known as the gateway to true hi-fi sound. Combining outstanding performance with a smart price, the series has won numerous awards and accolades. The Diamond 12 series continues that tradition, taking affordable quality to the next level.
The Diamond 12.2 bookshelf speakers are the largest models in the series, featuring a larger cabinet volume and larger drivers for a fuller sound. This results in a more powerful and deeper sound while maintaining a compact design. The 150mm Klartity™ drivers deliver tight, controlled bass, while the 25mm woven polyester dome tweeters deliver open, natural highs. Inside the cabinet, Intelligent Spot Bracing reduces internal resonance with specially shaped wooden bracing, carefully designed using computer simulations.
The Wharfedale Diamond 12.2 speakers are ideal for medium-sized to larger rooms or as a powerful bookshelf speaker in a 2-channel hi-fi setup. They combine warmth, detail, and balance in a timeless design that stays true to the recording.
