In honor of Wharfedale's 85th anniversary, the 85th Anniversary Edition of the Denton, one of the brand's most famous and beloved loudspeakers, was proudly presented. The Wharfedale Denton 85th brings craftsmanship, natural sound quality and affordability together in a compact speaker.
The Denton 85th is a two-way loudspeaker in the classic bookshelf tradition, beautifully hand-veneered by Wharfedale furniture makers with an inset faceplate and a traditional Tungsten fabric grille. Underneath the traditional exterior, however, the Denton 85th Anniversary is completely up to date and utilizes a blend of traditional and advanced technology.
The bass unit features Wharfedale's woven Kevlar cone mounted on a rigid die-cast chassis. This combination delivers a rich, detailed bass response with excellent performance. Furthermore, high frequencies are handled by a woven, soft dome-shaped textile treble unit with a ferrite magnet containing a high flux.
These units are combined through a highly researched crossover that is virtually inaudible to the listener, resulting in a coherent, seamless musical output that is both exciting and natural in its rendering of any source material. This output will tempt you to explore your entire music collection.
